Setting up Xeo in 5 Steps

  1. Setting up Xeo loudspeakers
Place the two Xeo loudspeakers on the left and on the right side. Set the switch on each speakers rear plate to Left and Right accordingly. Set the Zone / Room switch on each speakers rear plate to 1.

  2. Connecting Xeo loudspeakers
Connect each loudspeaker with a power cord to a mains socket. Switch the loudspeakers ON using the Power switch on the speakers rear plate.

  3. Connecting the Xeo Transmitter / Hub / Connect (optional for Xeo 2)
Connect the Xeo Transmitter / Hub / Connect with the included 5V power adapter to a mains socket. Alternatively, the transmitter can also be powered using only the included USB cable connected to a computer. Define the Xeo Transmitter / Hub / Connect as A using the rear Id switch. Point the Xeo remote control to one of the Xeo loudspeakers and press A accordingly. Xeo Transmitter / Hub / Connect and loudspeaker will automatically connect with each other, and all LED lights will illuminate in blue.

  4. Connecting the sound source
Connect a music source, or up to four music sources to the Xeo Transmitter (up to five music sources for Hub / Connect). For example via RCA (analog) into Input 1, via optical (Digital In / Optical In) into input 2, via coaxial digital (Coax In (Hub / Connect only) or a computer via USB (digital) into input 3 (USB In); Xeo will automatically appear as ‘Xeo Sound Device’ in the computers audio settings. Point the Xeo remote control to one of the Xeo loudspeakers and press the input buttons accordingly: 1, 2, 3 or 4.

  5. Start the music source.
The Xeo loudspeakers will begin to play and you can set the volume level via the Xeo remote control. After a couple of minutes without detecting an audio signal, the speakers will automatically switch into standby mode. If you still have no sound coming from the speakers read the Xeo FAQ for further help.
